Free Minimalist ATS Resume Template
Two-page space for substantial work history
The Minimalist ATS Resume uses two A4 pages, Arial type, and a single reading column. It gives candidates with several relevant positions room to describe outcomes without shrinking every paragraph. The restrained section rules separate roles while keeping the visual hierarchy familiar.

How to customize the Minimalist ATS Resume template
A two-page format is useful when the extra content is relevant. Do not use the second page merely to preserve every older responsibility.
Make the first page earn its space
Put the most recent and most relevant experience on page one, together with a concise summary if it adds context. A hiring manager should understand your direction and strongest accomplishments without turning to page two. If your career includes five roles, that does not mean all five need equal space. Give recent positions specific achievements; summarize earlier roles in fewer lines. This lets the two-page layout feel intentional rather than overfilled.
Keep the second page connected
Continue experience naturally across the page break. Avoid splitting a single achievement into two disconnected fragments. The second page can carry older positions, education, certificates, or projects as long as those sections add evidence. Use the same heading hierarchy, date treatment, and body type on both pages. A repeated name header is helpful for readers, but do not rely on the header alone for contact information because some parsing tools omit headers.
Edit the document without disturbing the layout
Replace the sample information first, then check paragraph spacing and page breaks before changing margins. Two-page documents are particularly sensitive to small changes in font size or bullet length. If a role starts alone at the bottom of page one, move the whole entry or shorten a less important paragraph rather than inserting empty lines. Review the exported PDF and the editable DOCX separately, because pagination can change between editors.
Check the reading order after export
Copy the completed document into a plain-text editor and scan the sequence from your contact details through the last section. Confirm that dates stay with the right employers and that page two does not start in the middle of unrelated content. If a PDF parser separates lines awkwardly, try a DOCX upload where accepted. This template is a strong option when detail matters more than squeezing everything onto a single page.
