About ATS Template
ATSTemplate.com is a free resource devoted to ATS-friendly resume templates and practical document formatting. We focus on a practical goal: make it easier to start with a readable resume in Google Docs or Microsoft Word, then adapt the content for the role you're applying to.
How we choose templates
We focus on readable headings, selectable text, predictable employment timelines, and manageable layouts. The catalog includes simple one-column designs as well as a few more compact styles that may need additional export checks. We explain those trade-offs on each template page instead of claiming that every design will pass every hiring system.
How we write our guidance
Our guides concentrate on formatting decisions job seekers can verify for themselves: keeping names and dates legible, using standard section labels, respecting the file type requested by employers, and checking plain-text extraction. We do not publish guaranteed “ATS scores” or recommend hidden keyword tricks.
Free to browse and edit
The templates on this site are offered without payment or account creation. Your resume content stays in the document editor you choose; we do not ask you to upload your CV to browse the collection. See the template use policy for details on using and redistributing files.
Questions or corrections
If a template link stops working or a formatting tip needs clarification, please contact us with the template name and a description of the issue. Maintaining accurate links and clear instructions matters more than making unrealistic promises about applicant tracking systems.
